I,m so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. It saddens me after all these years.I have only good memories of a man who somewhat substituted for my real dad, always with great humor and good insight into my needs at the time. I know a lot of time has passed, Marilyn, but both of your parents held a special place in my heart.I wish your dad peace. Our sympathies go out to you and your family.

It was always a pleasure to see him, whether I saw him visit Boots or was able to be a part of a special occasion. He made me laugh and I loved his kind heart. May he rest with his wife ❤️❤️❤️

Please be encouraged:

"For I well know what I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope. And you will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you"

I certainly feel a sadness over the death of Tex Hardy. All these years later, especially as our 50th reunion approaches, we think of the wonderful, fun years we had in the mid 60's as young kids and the people who helped create those memories. For me, Tex was one of those People. How it all came together, who knows? But the important part to me is that it did and Mr. And Mrs. Hardy certainly were a big part of it. Over the years "stuff" happens and we go our own ways and we miss out but his death only reminds me of the good things. For that I will be forever grateful. God keep you Coach.

Dick,
Thank you so much for your lovely condolence note. It's so nice to share these memories with our kids and grandchildren. It gives them a glimpse into the past and the younger man they never had the opportunity to meet. The older edition wasn't too shabby either, but your words meant a lot and we all thank you for your thoughtfulness in posting.
