Genevieve (Jean) Kudron

Born September 23, 1924, and died on April 26, 2017. Beloved daughter of the late John and Catherine Zmuda. Cherished wife of the late Anthony. Loving Mother of Gary, Kathy (Lynn Miller) and the late Thomas (Anne). Grandmother to Karie and Chris Hebert, Tony Kudron and Mark Milazzo, Keith and Erica Miller and Mia Kudron. Great-Grandmother to Connor, Theo and Isaac Hebert; Lily Zach and Dylan Miller, Jean was the last of the Zmuda children. Preceded in death by Stanley, Frank, Joseph, Edward, Gregory Zmuda and Lottie Krechnyak and Mary Henning. Survived by many nieces, nephews and family members. Member of the Rosary Society at St. Hedwig Parish, Loyal Christian Benefit Association, and the Polish Women’s Alliance-Group 170. Jean was a terrific Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She prayed daily, was proud of her Polish heritage, loved to travel, take a chance in life and tend to flowers in her garden. Mom will always be in our hearts.

Visitation will take place Friday, April 28th 1:30pm-8:30pm, Rosary 7:00pm at Fred Wood Funeral Home-Rice Chapel 36100 Five Mile Rd. (E. of Levan) Livonia.

 The funeral mass will be held Saturday, April 29th at 10:30am, instate 10:00am at St. Edith Catholic Church 15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia.

Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Detroit.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
