Hello, my name is Samantha. My sincere heartfelt condolence to you and your family. Losing a loved one is very grievous. Jesus knew and understood this. At 1 Corinthian 15:55, Jesus says: "Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?" Here Jesus likened death to a sting, meaning it hurts. However, he asked the question: "where is your victory/sting? Helping us to see that it will come a time when death will be no more and that's indicated at Revelation 21:3, 4. Yes, death will be gone forever!!! In the meantime, please take comfort from the God of the Bible. 2 Corinthians !:3, 4 says: "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort. 4 who comforts us in all our trials." Jesus said at John 5:28, 29 that there will be a resurrection on the day. Therefore, one day soon we could see our dead loved ones again!!!
