Maureen - I only recently learned of Sean's passing and cannot find the words to express the sadness I feel for you and your children. You may recall that shortly after Ellie's birth I became Sean's secretary at Willow Run Airport and I remember how much joy her birth brought him. I also remember the times that Rory and/or Marie, both in elementary school at the time, came out to the airport for an occasional day visit and what fun we had. I recall the joy it brought to Sean when Marie asked him, "Dad, are you really the boss of all this." With much pride, he answered, "Yes." He loved the airport as he loved all of you. May God bring peace and comfort to you, your children, all parents and siblings. Keeping you in my prayers - with sincere condolences, Marsha Smith

Maureen and Family:

We are profoundly saddened by the news of Sean's passing. We both had the opportunity to work with Sean, and we thoroughly enjoyed his infectious laugh and unique sense of humor. Sean was truly a goof -- and we say that in the best possible way. It was our pleasure and privilege to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

So sorry about your loss. We are up at Grand Lake so will not be able to attend the service. A great personal loss to me and the Yankee Air Museum, having known Sean for all the time he was at Willow Run and for a few years before that. He will be missed.

Maureen and family,

I met Sean back in 1995 (the noise house days) and he later became my boss when I arrived at Willow Run in 2000. He was a great mentor and taught me a lot about the industry in the 16 years I worked for him. We both shared that same "irreverent" humor that he was so known for and that is one of the many reasons he has always been my favorite boss. We'd sit in meetings and text each other jokes across the table to see who could maintain their composure the best. He always won! :)

Know that the majority of his conversations were always centered around you and the kids. Always so proud of his strong, dedicated wife, the kids, his family and the teams he coached... and his Irish heritage and Guinness expertise.

I mirror all the kind sentiments that others have been sharing about Sean and know that I, and all of his WCAA family, mourn with you. He has been, and will continue to be, missed. I empathize with you and know what you are going through. My you find strength and understanding in what only the Lord can answer.

God bless.

We are truly sorry to hear that Sean passed away and will keep him and all your families in our prayers. We had the honor of meeting Sean at St Mike’s and loved his smile & enthusiasm in making the soccer program successful as well as encouraging all the kids to prosper throughout the years. He will truly be missed! It’s very sad that God has taken him now, but know that with Your Beautiful Family, Sean’s memory will live forever. God bless all of you and give you strength during this very difficult time.

Words cannot describe the profound sadness that I feel with Sean's passing. I extend my most heartfelt condolences to the entire Brosnan family especially to Maureen and Sean's three children. I grew up with Sean which seems so long ago but I have always cherished the wonderful childhood memories that I experienced with Sean. Those memories have never failed to put a smile on my face.
Goodbye old friend and I pray God holds you in the palm of his hand forever.
