Armen Boyagian Obituary

Armen’s life started at birth in the family’s home.
Armen lead a life of adventure after graduating from high school. He hitchhiked across country to California to find work in a copper mine. He was injured while on the job which kept him from being drafted into World War II.
After sowing his wild oats he decided it was time to settle down. After dating the “Gangian Trio” Lillian Gangian was the love of his life and he asked her to spend the rest of their lives together.
Their marriage took place November 1, 1952 and the family started growing. A year later George was born and soon after Owen was born. Trying to round out the family they were shooting for a girl and not long after, Terri was born. Then oops, here’s Cheryl.
Dad worked hard to make sure his family was always provided for. He served his apprenticeship at Fisher Body to become a Pattern Maker, which proved to serve him well. He went into business in a Pattern Shop, Futurama, with partners and life-long friends, Brownie and Kowalski. Because of his excellent craftsmanship and business skills he was recruited by Ed Nishon of Milord Fabricating. He became Vice President in 1968 and retired from Mil-Fab in 1995.
Armen and Lillian were married 56 years at the time mom passed. Dad struggled with his loneliness but Terri kept him on his toes after promising mom she would take good care of him. Terri kept dad healthy and happy for the ten years after mom passed. Dad decided it was time to be with mom.
He is survived by his siblings Virginia Shuman (Jim (deceased)), Kay Boyagian (Sharron) and also his children, Dn.George Boyagian (Denise), Owen Boyagian (Kathy), Terri Boyagian and Cheryl Boyagian. There are also many grandchildren, Christopher Boyagian, Kelli Wright (Richard), Michael Boyagian (Sophany), Steven Woods (deceased), Suren Srabian, Bryan Woods (Ashley), Armen Boyagian (Amira), Sarah Barlow (Jason), Aaron Yanke (Erin), Daniel Woods, Morgan Yanke (Nataleigh), Amara Boyagian, and Kyle Marks. There are also many great grandchildren that Armen was fortunate enough to love, Jacob Justice (Woods), Katelyn Barlow, Alliyah Boyagian, Lily Barlow, Reena Wright, Leighom Yanke, Madison Woods and Evan Barlow. Along with many friends and family.
Dad will rest peacefully together with the love of his life for all eternity.
