Smith, Charles “Chuck” age 66 of Livonia. Cherished husband of Linda for 46 years. Loving dad of Tom (Sheleen) and Brian (Anne). Proud grandpa of Brad, Jacob, Amanda and Luke. Dearest brother of Debbie Smith, Kathy (Mike) Mueilenburg and Sharon Smith. Also survived by many other loving family and friends.

I want to begin by thanking all of you for your prayers and condolences on the home going of Chuck. We are so thankful for God’s grace and provision during this time. Chuck loved serving the Lord all these years. He was blessed to be a Youth Director for 30 years at several churches. He currently was honored to be the Young Couples teacher at the church, a deacon and assistant to the pastor. He and our sons had their own business, for 20 years, Summit Roofing & Remodeling of Livonia, and Summit Building Co. He loved fishing and hunting with his family. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy.

Many have asked what they can do during this time. It had been Chuck’s hearts’ desire to support our church in the building of a new fellowship hall for furtherance of the ministry and the gospel. It is my prayer in his honor to further this goal by asking that in lieu of flowers or gifts, that donations/notes be made to the

Parkview Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Building Project.
