Schick, Donald L. (Don), age 78, of Livonia, MI – formerly of Garden City, Brownstown, and Wyandotte, MI – passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, after a long battle with COPD.
Don was born February 7, 1940, in Toledo, OH, to the late Donald A. and Mildred G. (Noyes) Schick. He is survived by his children (with his former wife Sandi [Raniszeski] Eaton) Dawn (Tim) Grates and Chris (Amada) Schick, grandchildren Jamie and Lindsay Grates, and great-grandson Lucas Raby. He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra (Harrison) Schick.
Don was a proud graduate of Bowling Green State University and fondly remembered his days as a High School history teacher in Toledo, OH. Later he became a top salesman of pharmaceuticals, hospital supplies, and durable medical equipment (prosthetics).
Don loved his days playing softball and bowling and was a life-long U of M football and Detroit Tigers fan. He will be forever remembered, loved, and missed by all who knew him.

A memorial visitation will take place 2:00pm ~ 8:00pm on Sunday, May 6th at Fred Wood Funeral Home-Rice Chapel 36100 Five Mile Rd.,(E. of Levan) Livonia. The memorial Mass will be held Monday 10:30 a.m., gathering 10:00 a.m. at St. Edith Catholic Church 15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI.
