Francisco “Frank” John Aleva

aged 19, born January 28, 1998. Beloved son of John Leslie and Carmen Mirina (nee Portillo) Aleva. Brother of Nicholas Edward, Alex Ryan, and John “Jack” Joseph. Loving grandson of Judy Portillo, and the late Francisco “Pancho” Portillo and John and Joyce (nee Gretchen) Aleva. Beloved nephew, cousin, and friend of many. Frank was a 2016 graduate of Kenston High School. A talented artist, Frank was a student at Savannah School of Art and Design. He had a great love of longboarding and fishing. Frank had a gift for expressing his affection for others through art. He was most happy surrounded by those he loved. Frank will be missed and will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. VISITATION WITH THE FAMILY WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, JUNE 15 AT THE ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME AT 16381 CHILLICOTHE ROAD, CHAGRIN FALLS FROM 5 PM – 8 PM. A service of celebration of Frank’s life will be on Friday, June 16 at Our Lady’s Chapel at Gilmour Academy at 2045 SOM Center Road Gates Mills at 11 am with a reception to follow in the Gilmour Commons. Service for friends and family and private family burial will be held in Livonia, MI on Saturday, June 17.
