November 18, 1939 – November 6, 2018

Loving father of Cindy (Jerry) Church, James (Donna) Peterson and David Peterson. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Cynthia (Bruce) Peterson, 2015, whose favorite picture he secretly carried in his wallet throughout their marriage. Cherished brother, uncle, and friend to all. Proud Navy Veteran stationed at Guantanamo Bay from 1959-1961 where he photographed navel equipment testing in the Atlantic. Jimmy’s greatest passions included military history, gardening, and woodworking projects. Most of all, he was always ready to greet you with a Miller High Life or a glass of wine and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his wide circle of family and friends, telling stories and sharing laughter around his kitchen table. His open door and ready smile will long be missed by all who knew and loved him.
