John "Jack" W. Masek

Passed away on July 24, 2017, age 86, of Livonia, Michigan. Loving husband of Marjory (nee. Grobosky) for 64 years. Dear father of John M. (Sue) Masek, Michael (Carol) Masek, and Carol (Jeffrey) Davert. Proud grandfather of John A., Lindsay, Adam (Lindsay), Lauren and great grandfather of Paislee Masek. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired in 1987 as Vice President of Human Resources for Allied Supermarkets.

Visitation will take place Thursday, July 27th 3:30pm-8:30pm, Rosary 7:00pm at Fred Wood Funeral Home-Rice Chapel 36100 Five Mile Rd. (E. of Levan) Livonia. The funeral mass will be held Friday, July 28th at 11:00am, instate 10:15am at St. Genevieve - St. Maurice Catholic Church, 29015 Jamison St. Livonia, Michigan.

Interment will follow at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
