Julie Klarr Obituary

Julie Ann Klarr

was born in 1931 in Detroit Michigan. She attended St. Charles School, where she met the love of her life, Al, her brother’s best friend. After his hitch with the Marines, they married and settled down in Detroit and began raising their six children. Later they moved to Livonia in 1966. Thereafter all her children attended and graduated from college and soon began to marry and raise their own families..:
John (Jack) and wife Pattricia (Patty) and their two sons Daniel (Danny) and Thomas (Tommy).
Gerald (Jerry) and his wife Beverly (Bev) and their two daughters Lisa (husband Chris and daughter MacKenzie) and April.
Janine and her husband Richard (Rick) and their daughter Bryanna.
Alan (Al) and his wife Susan (Sue) and their son Joseph (Joey).
Judith (Judy) and her husband David (Dave) and their children Jared and Juliet.
Susanne (Susie) and her husband Douglas (Doug) and their sons Dylan, Gunnar and Gannon.
She took great pride in her children and their accomplishments, raising a trial lawyer, chief automotive engineer, aerospace engineer, regional sales manager, neonatologist and a marketing director.
Over the years the family  gathered for many holidays at her home and at the family cottage, where swimming, skiing, boating, bonfires and barbeques, card games, puzzles, volleyball and other seasonal pursuits were played with gusto and friendly competition. Over all, Julie ruled the roost and directed these events.
Nothing made her happier than having her children and their children together and having fun. She would join in, so much so that she loved to go tubing. A life-long Catholic, she passed away knowing she would be reunited with the man she cherished above all, her husband Al who died in 2005.
