Lucille Commons

Lucille was born in Detroit on March 14, 1929. She graduated from North Eastern High School and went to work as a secretary and ediphone operator. She married Allan “Tom” Comons on October 28, 1950 and in May 1964 they adopted their only child, Carolyn. Lucille enjoyed working at St. Mary of Redford as a school secretary where she worked for many years until she retired in the late 1990’s. In April 1998, Lucille became a Grandma to her first grandchild, Enzo. Again in April 2000, she was blessed with her second grandson, Dino. Lucille was a loving, caring, generous mother and an even more amazing grandmother. Lucille is survived by her husband of 67 years, Allan, who is now 93.
Lucille will be greatly missed by her daughter Carolyn, son-in-law Robert, and grandsons Enzo and Dino.
