Mel will be remembered as true gentlemen and a fun-loving and generous husband, father and grandfather. Mel was an avid bowler his entire life and bowled his first perfect game at the age of 60. He was a lover of all travel and he often drove across the US visiting friends and family, seeing sites, and making new friends. He also loved history and was an avid fan of the Tigers and Lions. Mel was a class act and never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by family, friends and the local restaurants where he loved to stop for a bite to eat and a chat.
