I was a neighbor and friend of the Schroeder boys while growing up in Livonia. Mr. Schroeder was my Cub Scout Pack 907 Leader. In fact, just yesterday, I found my "Wolf" patch signed by Mr. Schroeder in 1971 while sorting some childhood memorabilia that my mother, Bobbi Patterson, had kept for me all these years. Even though he had a full house of five boys of his own, Mr. Schroeder always had extra time, care, and attention for even more. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Uncle Milt was such a positive, self-less, and steady man. Even though we lived on the other side of the country he was always so kind, joyful and
engaging when we would see he and Aunt Sally. My prayers are with the Schroeder boys, his brothers (my Dad, John and Uncle Clint) and the whole family on the loss of this great man.
