Maureen, Matt, Shane, & Drake,
We are so sad to hear of the passing of Owen. Owen was the youngest of our six kids we had together. We remember all the wonderful times shared between our two families. We loved him just as we love you all and are hearts break for all of you. Please know that we are here for you. May God hold you all close today and in the days ahead. Owen is now at peace with the Lord.
With all our love,
Dave, Renee, Rachael, Sarah, & David Schuit

My son Colin died from an overdose of heroin-poison on 12/23/17. Owen is 5 years younger than Colin. My daughter Claire, knew of Owen. Claire graduated in 2015.. To both parents, I understand the tape of emotions. I obviously am still in my own shock. I plan to attend the Families Against Narcotics Support group on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 in Canton. I could use a buddy... My name is Renee. (Colin Rish, Shrader Howell Funeral Home 12/23/17) One parent reaching out to another- that is all I am doing. Fondly- Renee Bellas (Rish)

Matt, Maureen, Shane, Drake and the entire Myers and Daly Families-
My deepest sympathies in the passing of Owen. I can't even imagine how painful this is to all of you. Remember the good times, the happiness you had together, and his youthful good hearted nature and warm smile. God works in many ways, and sometimes life does not make any sense. In times like this especially, have faith and love for each other, and belief that God had other plans or sacrifices, that someday will make sense. Godspeed to all of you. Your old friend - Dan

I coached Owen for one spring season in hockey(we always seemed to play against him!)...he was one of those players you could easily talk to...and had a lot of talent, making him very enjoyable to have on your team. When a coach looks back at their seasons, it's not the games that you remember, it's the players and people and the marks they left on your life... May he Rest In Peace.

Our hearts break to learn of Owen's passing. We remember our days on the Blackhawks and his devilish charm, boyish good looks and slick moves on the ice. Simple words do not suffice to convey our sadness. We send hugs, love and an abundance of warmth and comfort to his family.
