Susan Kopy

Went to meet her Lord and Savior in Heaven on November 12, 2019 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of John for 40 wonderful years. Loving mother of Heather (Lefty) Kerr, John (Elizabeth) Kopy, and Eric (Cacey) Kopy. Cherished grandma of Alexandria Kerr, Emilia Kerr, Wyatt Kopy, and Lucy Kopy. Dear sister of Steven (Debbie) Hunt; sister-in-law of Chris (the late Charles) Oxender and Lynn (Keith) Brunson. She leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Billy and Colleen Hunt. Susan loved the Lord and wasn't afraid of death, she had assurance of her salvation and was a witness to those around her.  Although, as a child she was shy, her outgoingness and ability to connect with people was second to none.  She loved conversation, lived for her family and her cherished husband.  She adored her grandchildren and would share stories to anyone that would listen. She had kind words to say about everyone, loved giving gifts, and never showed up empty handed.  She loved working at the Walmart deli.  While she said it kept her busy, she really just loved the people who surrounded her.

Visitation will take place Saturday, November 16th 3:00pm-9:00pm, Sunday, November 17th 12:00pm-9:00pm at Fred Wood Funeral Home-Rice Chapel 36100 Five Mile Rd. (E. of Levan) Livonia.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 18th at 11:00am, visiting 10:00am at Compass Christian Church 35475 5 Mile Road Livonia, Michigan 48154.
