Dad, You have no idea what you meant to your surrogate kids. You showed us all what it meant to be a loving father, grand father and friend. We are all better people thanks to your leadership.

RIP Dad. Give Doris a hug and kiss from all of us

So sorry for all your loss. That large whole you feel in your heart today will begin to fill with wonderful memories over time but it will always be there.

Dear Cousins and 2nd and 3rds: What a Guy! My Godfather. Friendly and open, the most relaxed of all Kiddo's kids. When I was twelve and lonely in my families bunch of kids, I was always welcome by Aunt Doris and Uncle Bill, a bike ride away, even with their bunch of kids. Fond memories.
All my Sympathy, Jim

You were my other dad, filling the gap left after I lost my father. I loved your stories, the family history you provided, our trip to D.C., your visits up north with us sitting on the front deck talking about everything, and your smart aleckness (which your son and grandsons have down to a T). xoxo
