Ainsley was a dancer, cheerleader since a young age. Cheering for the Livonia Orioles in elementary school, this is where she discovered her love for Pompon. Ainsley was a four-year member and captain of Livonia Pom. Within this special group of friends, families, and coaches, she learned that hard work, and discipline ALWAYS paid off. She continued to practice these skills, especially the moto “if you’re on time, you’re late!” Ainsley continued to Pompon at Churchill High School until her Junior year.
Since Jr. High Ainsley was involved with the Peer Connections program and continued all throughout High School. This was her true passion, working with special needs students. Throughout this program, Ainsley met amazing faculty and friends. Ainsley started a “spirit squad” for those students that didn’t want to participate in the Unified Basketball games. This was a true success, students learned sideline cheers and a half-time performance, with Poms! The students Ainsley coached received Varsity letters and awards, many for the first time. This
brought so much joy to many students and families. She also helped with the Unified Bocci ball team as well, which lead to many more incredible friendships.
Ainsley was a makeup guru, Ulta being one of her favorite places to browse for long lengths of time. Everyone would ask for makeup tips/advise from her. Ainsley had a fierce love of coffee starting at a young age (thanks to Grandma Jan!) She would make daily morning trips to Starbucks, and many times her drink would be already made, ready and waiting for her. Ainsley loved her puppies, Sparty and Lucy, whom she’d snuggle with every morning before she started her day. Ainsley had an amazing friend group, with nightly FaceTime calls to check in with each
other, Crumble cookie runs, and many shopping excursions. Crystals were a big belief in Ainsley’s life. She had many of them that brought her peace and joy. Ainsley always wore a necklace with 444, “this conveys a powerful message of love, support, and guidance from your angels. It serves as a reminder that you are on the right path, and your angels are by your side, offering their unwavering support. The number 4 symbolizes stability, security, and a strong foundation.” Her family is comforted knowing that she believed in this message and knows she
will always be there with them.
Ainsley completed her first semester at Schoolcraft College, due to her passion and hard work she received two academic scholarships. She was planning on pursuing a degree in Special Education, which all started with her time in the Peer Connections program. Help to carry on her legacy and love of that program.
