Al Hanlon
Passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Karen for 40 wonderful years. Loving father of Justin (Kellie) Hanlon and Jeremy (Randi) Hanlon. Cherished Gampo of Ronan, Everleigh, and Killian Hanlon. Dear brother of Linda, Terry, Rose, and Thomas; Brother-in-law of Mike (Kathy) and Kevin (Kathy). Dearest uncle of Kate, Jason, Heather, Nick, and Genevieve.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have to announce the passing of Al Hanlon, a loving husband, father, Gampo, brother, uncle, and friend. It’s hard to imagine a world without him in it as he was so passionate about life. He thoroughly loved golf, weight lifting, martial arts, arguing, fast cars, good food, a good time, and most importantly his family and friends.
He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer roughly 4 years ago, a death sentence to most. And while we were scared that we would lose him quickly to this horrible disease… he met it as a challenge and remained positive every step of the way. He fought courageously and looking back we should have known he would. He passed after a day surrounded by family and showered with love and laughter. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.
