Alfred "Al" Shaw

Alfred “Al” Shaw age 91. Beloved husband of the late Gloria. He was the son of the late Alfred and Marie Shaw and brother of the late Joseph. Loving father of Al, Jerry (Nita), Joseph (Kim), Scott (Denise) and the late Susan. Alfred was a loving grandfather, he cherished moments with Rebecca (Matthew), Michael (Nikki), Bryan, Megan, Kristin, Mark (Katie), Andrea (Mihir), Jenna (Anthony), Nicholas (Caroline), Natalie (Bobby), Audrey, Lauren (Joe), Mitchell, Hannah and Scott Jr. He was also an adoring great-grandfather to Brayden, Jaxson, Lila and Joey. He is survived by his sister-in-law’s Bernice (best friend), Nancy, Dolores, Kathy, brother-in-law Richard, son-in-law Mark as well as his special niece Michelle and her children Matthew, Adam and Danielle. Al is survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and loving extended family members and friends.

Alfred was born and spent his early life in Brooklyn, New York. Alfred was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. He served in the Navy during the Korean War, where he became a Blimp Aviation Instructor for anti-submarine warfare. He was then stationed in Michigan where he met his future wife, Gloria.

Visitation will be held Tuesday ~ August 13, 2024

3:00pm-8:00pm with a 7:00pm Rosary
