Aslan Sam Halim

Passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Shazo Halim. Loving father of Danny, Hysen, and the late Perry. Dear father-in-law of Ardiana. Cherished grandfather of Nadia, Malik, Mehmet and Adrian. Proud uncle of Gege. Dearest son of the late Mehmet and Fatime Halim. He leaves behind many other loving family members and friends. Sam was the co-owner of the 1980’s iconic bar “Studio Lounge” in Westland, Michigan that hosted many well-known rock bands. His signature drink “Sam’s Banana” is still being served at some local establishments to this day. Sam’s incredible physical and emotional strength was second to none. His big heart and beautiful sense of humor will be missed by all.
