Avery Jean Watt, age 5 of Troy. Avery passed away peacefully after a 4 year battle with AT/RT Brain and Spinal Cancer. Cherished daughter of Jeff and Holly. Best friend and sissy to Hannah B. Loving granddaughter to Papa Mike and Memaw Peggy Watt and Papa James and the late Nana Linda Gilliland. Beloved niece of Auntie J. (Jamie) and Uncle Cod (Todd) Clark, Desi Watt, Uncle Dave and Aunt Ann Marie Watt and Chris Watt. Loving cousin to Abby, Emma, Sophie, Cameron and Chase. Also survived by many other loving family and friends.
Avery was the definition of a true warrior and always fought with a smile on her face. Her laughter and giggles were incredibly contagious and she brought joy to everyone who knew her. She loved spending time with her family and friends and you could often find her caring for her baby dolls, doing puzzles, playing her favorite games, serving up pretend ice cream to everyone, playing play doh, doing arts and crafts and building with legos and magnetic tiles. She loved cuddles with Mama and wrestling with daddy and Hannah. When she needed to rest you could find her watching her favorite shows and movies, including Bluey, Gabby’s Dollhouse, Henry Danger, Daniel Tiger, Cocomelon, Disneys Zombies and Descendants movies, Despicable Me, Cinderella, Moana, Frozen, Trolls, Clifford and The Christmas Chronicles. Her favorite color was red and she loved Koalas and Sloths, along with her own kitty Bailey. Her favorite place to visit was her Memaw and Papa’s cabin where she always looked forward to leaving food out for the deer. She will be dearly missed everyday.
