Burton “Fred” Humm

Passed away peacefully at home with his wife Loretta of 63 years by his side, on Saturday, April 24th, 2021. Loving father of Colleen (John), Linda, Susan (Marty), and Nancy (Kevin). Cherished grandfather of 6; great-grandfather of 6. Fred was born on July 25, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. Fred was a previous employee of Ford Motor Company, and retired from Chrysler after 40 proud years as a designer. He loved woodworking as a hobby, and gave many of his treasures as keepsakes. We are all blessed to have had him in our lives. He has given us a lifetime of memories and taught us that life is about family.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, April 27th, 4:00pm-8:00pm at

Fred Wood Funeral Home-Rice Chapel 36100 Five Mile Rd., (E. of Levan) Livonia.

The funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 28th at 12:00pm, instate 11:30am

St. Colette Catholic Church 17600 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48152.
