Colin Evans Obituary

Colin Michael Evans

Born January 25, 1999, Colin went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 31, 2022 in Lubbock, Texas as a student at Texas Tech University.  Colin was and always will be an amazing young man.  At only 23, he had wisdom beyond his years. His friends would seek him for ideas, counsel, friendship and just silly comradery.  He will be greatly missed by so many!  He loved to see people smile, make them laugh, and see them gather to be happy.  He saw so many people down and discouraged, he just wanted people to be happy.  Growing up, he thought everyone should know Jesus!  Again, he just wanted people to be happy, positive, and enjoy life!

Colin loved adventure and exploring new things ever since he was a toddler!  He was born in Livonia, Michigan, spent the early part of his life in Florida before moving to Texas to be nearer to where extended family had moved.  There were so many things in life he enjoyed and was looking forward to experiencing and enjoying.  He was and is a man who would change the world.  Whether in life here on earth, or eternal life in Heaven, he will continue to change the world – it is just the nature of who he was.

Colin leaves behind his Mom, Sheryl ‘Sherry’ Evans, Uncles – Kevin Evans, Kraig Evans (Rita), and John Gregg, and his Grandmother – Patricia Evans, along with numerous other family and friends who love him dearly!!  He made friends wherever he went, wherever he moved, and whatever he did.  He had confidence in who he was and not afraid to make a new friend.

Colin, you are already greatly missed!!!  You are so Loved and so very deeply missed!

You’ve taken pieces of our hearts with you.

Colin will be laid to rest at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan

A celebration of life will be held in the future.
