David S. Lyall

Passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024, at the age 84. Born in Detroit, Michigan on July 19, 1940 to his late parents John and Florence Lyall. David was the loving father of Mary Beth (the late Herbert James) Herbst, David John (Ann Alene) Lyall, Michael James (Dien) Lyall, and Kelly Ann (Ted Gerard) Ferensic. Cherished grandpa “Papa Dave” to Jessica Lynn (Ryan), Justin James (Lauren Hailey), Shaw Sinclair (Amanda), Sheldon Ray, Joshua, Maggie, Brandon Michael, Zackary David, and Alec John. Proud great-grandpa of Owen, Hunter Andrew, Mason, Hunter, Prince, Sky, and Scout. Dear brother of John Derrick (Candice) Lyall, and the late Freida and Doreen. He leaves behind many other loving family members, friends, and his parakeet Mickey. David was fondly known for his witty sense of humor and his sarcasm. He was a bibliophile by heart. His favorite pastime was singing with family and friends and fishing.
