Dimitrios "Jim" Kavalos

Dimitrios "Jim" Kavalos age 77. Born in Zoniana, Crete. Beloved husband of Sofia for over 52 years. Cherished dad of Pete (Alicia), Irene Kavalos, Emily (Matt) Kaminski and the late Nick. Proud Papou of Ellie, Nicholas, Lucas, Serena and Mabel. Loving brother of Aphrodite, Chrisoula and the late Zaharoula. Also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Dimitrios was charismatic, proud, generous, and hardworking. He loved running his Mobil gas stations, had an affinity for gambling and a good Zeibekiko. He was happiest listening to Skoulas’ music and cheering for his favorite team, Olympiacos, yelling “GOAL!” with all his heart.

Those who knew him will miss his goofy sayings and random facts. His grandkids will always remember Papou, who loved clowning around to make them smile. May his memory be eternal.
