Passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024, at the age of 98. Born in Laurium, Michigan on May 12, 1926, to her late parents Raymond and Louise Treganowan. Beloved wife of the late William Mitchell for 55 wonderful years. Loving mother of Kay (Doug) Stafford and Terri (Cliff) Tobin. Cherished grandmother of Julie (Jason) Musson, Tom (Katie) Stafford, David (Audrey) Tobin, and Scott Tobin. Proud great-grandma of Rosie, Mitchell, Lola, Billy, Danny, Louise, and Teddy. She leaves behind many other loving family members and friends. Dorothy enjoyed being in the kitchen baking and cooking delicious treats. She cherished time camping and watching beautiful Michigan sunsets with her family.
