It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Elaine Carol Calka, who departed this life peacefully on September 25, 2025 at the age of 77.

Elaine was a woman of unwavering faith and quiet strength. She was deeply devoted to her family and friends, and found joy in life’s simple pleasures—tending her garden, knitting with care, and expressing her love through her home-cooked Italian meals.

A devout Catholic, Elaine lived her faith with grace and humility.  Her kindness and compassion were a reflection of her beliefs, and her gentle spirit touched all who knew her.

Elaine’s kitchen was the heart of her home. Her cooking brought the family together for countless holidays, each one filled with warmth and love.

Elaine was the devoted wife of Dale for 55 wonderful years. She was the beloved mother of Brian (Elizabeth) and Jeff (Kelli), and the cherished grandmother of Dominic, Anthony, and Nicholas. She was the loving sister to her brother Tom (Ruth) Williamson and a loving aunt to her nephew John (Whitney), and was preceded in death by her parents, Ivos and Mary, and sister Terry (John) Maley. Her legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of those she held dear.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Angela Hospice, in honor of Elaine’s lifelong commitment to helping others.
