Frederick “Dean” Betcher

Passed away on May 4, 2024 at the age of 95, peacefully holding hands with his beloved wife Josephine of 38 years. Born in Detroit, Michigan on April 8, 1929 to parents Frederick and Emma Betcher. He was the loving father of Susan Krajewski, Fred D. (Kathy) Betcher II, and Sandy (Jeff) Rathnaw. Dear step-father of Madeleine (Mike) Roginski, Gary McNab, Sandy McNab, and the late Keith McNab. Proud grandpa of Sean (Tess), Shane (Mei-an), Shea (Drew), Fred (Emily), Nick (Jenna), Mike, Noël, Ben, Theresa, Megan, Nikki (Eugene), and Eric (Nicole). Cherished Opa of 19. Dearest brother-in law of Connie Betcher, Shirley McDowell, and Phyllis McDowell. He leaves behind many loving family members, friends, and his Northville Christian Assembly family. Dean served in the Army during the Korean War. He proudly retired from GM Cadillac after 40 years of dedicated work. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Northville Christian Assembly Missions Fund.
