Gilbert “Gil” Guy Francis

Passed away in Livonia on July 28, 2023, at the age of 95. Gilbert was born on May 1, 1928 in Rochester, New York to parents Carlton and Daisy Francis. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte "Penny" (nee. Stone) Francis for 61 wonderful years. Loving father of Nancy Pennington of Livonia and Carlton (Patricia) Francis of St. Cloud, Florida. Cherished Grandpa to David Pennington of Garden City, Laura (Doug) Smith of Garden City, and Christina (Nathaniel) Wilson of Florida. Great-grandpa of Amber Pennington, Drew Smith, Kara Smith, Brooke Smith, Colton Wilson, and Landen Wilson. Gilbert was preceded in death by his brothers Duane Francis and Norman Francis. He leaves behind many other loving family members and friends.
