James A. Antecki

James A Antecki passed away on October 16, 2022 at 80 years of age. He is survived by his children Stefan, Glenn, and Lisa of Livonia MI and his sister Gail Beatrice of Palo Alto CA. Jim graduated from Wayne State University, served in the military from 1965-1967 and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant from the U.S. Army. Jim had a long and distinguished career as a realtor, insurance agent, and tax preparer. Fairlane Realty in Dearborn, MI is a three-generation family business where Jim worked for almost 50 years. Jim served as President of the Dearborn Board of Realtors and was twice named realtor of the year by the Board. The Board also named him to the Great Performers Club seven times.

HIS VOLUNTEER ACTIVITES INCLUDED SERVING AS PRESIDENT OF THE GOLFVIEW MANOR CIVIC ASSOCIATION AND THE STONELEIGH VILLAGE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION IN LIVONIA MI.

Jim's abiding love was his family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Inge. He made his yard a paradise and his home a warm and welcoming place for family and friends. Jim leaves not only his family but innumerable friends and clients who cherished his humor, positive attitude, infectious laugh, and life-long commitment to helping those around him. He leaves a hole that will be hard fill in the lives of so many who knew him.
