Janice Walter

Janice Dianne Walter (nee. MacMillan) age 76 of Livonia, passed away on August 10, 2024.  She was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 14, 1948 to her late parents, Clarence and Hilda MacMillan.  Devoted wife of Robert Walter for 52 loving years.  Cherished mother of Brett (Christine) and Scott. Caring step-mother of David (Crystal) Payne.  Treasured Nana to Kyle, Shane, Hope, Haley and Celina.  Loving sister of Leland (Mary) MacMillan.  Adored sister-in-law of Phil (Sherry) Walter and Jim (Pat) Walter. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews, as well as beloved cousin to many residing in both Michigan and Canada.  She also leaves behind her faithful companion, Sunny, who always brought a smile to her face. 

Janice was a woman with a deep Catholic faith, and found a home in recent years at St. Kenneth in Plymouth.  She proudly graduated from St. Mary of Redford High School in Detroit in 1966 and carried with her so many deep and special friendships from her years there.  She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
