John Edward Coopersmith, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law, passed away peacefully on February, 21, 2026 at the age of 85.

He was the devoted husband of Marge and a loving father to Tracy. He was a proud father-in-law to Jamie and a cherished grandfather to Rachel and Jacob (Carly). His family meant everything to him, and he took great pride in the life they built together.

As a private pilot, John found joy and freedom in the skies. He and his wife shared many flying adventures, creating unforgettable memories from above. Their shared love of travel also took them on many trips together, including countless fun-filled visits to casinos where they enjoyed time side by side.

He had a talent for woodworking and took pride in crafting pieces with his hands — each project a reflection of his patience, skill, and quiet creativity.

John will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of adventure, and his deep devotion to his family. His life was filled with meaningful moments, shared laughter, and lasting memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
