Judy Long, Age 69 of Livonia, MI passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026 after a long battle with Multiple System Atrophy.

Born in Detroit, Judy graduated from Ladywood High School in 1974 and Mercy College in 1978.  She earned a degree in Restaurant management and went on to work at Little Caesars, Olga’s Kitchen, and Livonia Public Schools. She was a very strong and hardworking woman who was a dedicated stay at home mom while her kids were young. 

Outside of her career, Judy loved to work in the yard, listen to Michael Bublé, walk the dog, and scrapbook.  She loved traveling up north, was an avid TV fanatic, and enjoyed spending quality time with her family. 

Judy was preceded in death by her husband James E. Long and her parents, Gerald and Dorothy Carlson.  She is survived by her daughters Katie (Matt) Kuehl and Emily Long, as well as her sisters Barbara (Gerald) Sabatini and Nancy (Tom) Mulligan.   She was also a proud grandma to her two granddogs Bones and Winky.
