Kathy Ann Dallenbach

Kathleen Ann Dallenbach, Age 75, Born in Detroit, Michigan, longtime resident of Westland, Michigan.  Life partner of Michael Novinskey for over 32 years.  Loving mother of Jodi (Ralph) Scharf.  Beloved grandmother of Carolyn (Chris) Sledz.  Great grandmother of Christopher "CT” Sledz. Cherished sister of Donna Fink.  

Kathy was an energetic and feisty lady throughout her life.  She was a hard worker and proudly worked as a beautician and bartender at Oak Lanes Bowling Alley for many years. Kathy loved to travel, especially with her sister Donna, visiting all 50 states, and taking a European cruise when she retired. She spent many summers with Michael on Marble Lake- sitting in the sun, around the bonfire and jet skiing. Kathy was an avid card player and held many euchre tournaments over the years. She was also a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan. She enjoyed going downtown to celebrate Opening Day with her many friends and family. 

Kathy was the life of any party- cracking jokes, sharing stories and was a social butterfly. She positively impacted many people throughout her life and would be the first one to show up if you needed help. 

Most of all, Kathy was the matriarch of her family. She was heavily intertwined in the day to day life of her loved ones and her presence is deeply missed. There was no occasion too big or small that she missed with her girls. She was so proud of her most recent title, great grandmother- or “KK” as she preferred as she was too young and cool to be called great grandma. 

We will miss her greatly but we are comforted than her love and memory lives within us. While gone too soon, she lived a fulfilled and happy life and we are grateful to have received her unconditional love.
