Kent Wilford Barbour

March 4, 1939 – December 5, 2023

Kent Barbour of Livonia passed away peacefully on December 5, 2023 with his beloved wife of 45 years by his side.
Kent is survived by his wife, Kathy; 3 daughters, Laurie  Barbour-McPhail, Cheryl Barbour (Dennis Murray), and Terri Barbour-Reich (Kevin Csernyant) ; 3 step-daughters, Linda (Dave) Wilson, Jan (Bruce) Wiseman, and Jacquie (Steve) Segal; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a very special blended extended family; and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother Tom; and recently by his son Todd.

  Kent established bonds with everyone he met.  He always had a contagious smile and would take over the room with a joke or funny story. He called everyone he walked away from “my friend”. Throughout his life, Kent enjoyed boating on Lake St. Clair with his family and friends.

Per his wishes, cremation has already taken place and there will be no formal service.
