Lorraine Ester Peplinski

Lorraine Peplinski, age 99, passed away January 23, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 13, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan. At a young age the family moved to Harbor Beach Michigan where she graduated from Our Lady of Lake Huron High School. Lorraine was united in marriage to Ernest on October 15, 1949. Their marriage spanned over seven decades and was blessed with four children, six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is survived by her children: Paul (Linda) Peplinski, Sandra Cook, Denise (Bruce) Glenn, Pamela (Mark) Koski, and five grandchildren: Gregory (April) Glenn, Steven Glenn, Julie (George) Forsey Linda (James) Strong, David Peplinski, and her sister Glorianna Huebner.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her loving husband Ernest, her son-in-law William (Ed) Cook, grandson Timothy Cook, her parents, and siblings Dale Tschirhart, Inez Callow, and Joyce Adams.

Lorraine loved spending time with her family, doing jigsaw and word search puzzles, reading, and playing all kinds of card games. She also enjoyed a cold shell of beer with some good pizza.
