Lorriane Rita (nee. Badash)  Pysz

Passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023, at the age of 89.  Lorraine was married to the late Edward for 46 wonderful years. Our Dear Lord did not bless them with children but Lorraine was blessed with many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She is survived by her sisters Mary Ann and Patricia and preceded in death by her brother Joseph and sisters Henrietta and Elaine. She is also survived by lifelong friends of 82 years, the Kolpacke girls, Valerie Fritz and Vivian Roney, 12 nieces and nephews, 17 great nieces and nephews and 20 great, great nieces and nephews.

Lorraine worked at Allstate Insurance Company for over 40 years and worked her way up to an Insurance Adjuster. She did not like being the focal point of anything and instead always remained in the background being very supportive to family and friends. As her sister will tell you, Lorraine’s saintly side showed up as a child when she was selected to play the part of Mary in the Nativity Scene in the 3rd and 9th grades at St. Casimir’s School. She only agreed to this because she did not have to speak. Again, she was selected to crown our Blessed Virgin Mary in her senior year of High School at St. Cecilia’s in Detroit which she did with a smile on her face.
