Marjorie Helen Wolf (neè Bernardi), born in Detroit, May 16, 1927, died January 22, 2022. She was the youngest of four children born to Raymond and Elizabeth (Redfern) Bernardi. Marjorie spent her early years on her grandparent’s farm in Pinconning, MI with her two brothers, Ray and Jim, her sister Mary, and many cousins.
Marjorie married Raymond Wolf on August 8, 1953. The couple built their first home in Redford Twp., where she enjoyed raising their family and volunteering at St. John Bosco Parish where their children attended school. A talented seamstress, Marjorie loved sewing clothes for her and her children, and in later years teddy bears for her grandchildren.
As avid boaters, Marge and Ray spent many happy years at the Detroit Yacht Club on the water with friends and family. After Ray’s retirement, the couple enjoyed winters in Cape Coral, FL, hosting gatherings and playing in the pool with grandkids. Marge was an avid gardener and had a passion for taking care of orchids and other tropical indoor plants. She was also a prolific baker, a skill which delighted her many grandkids and in her later years, her friends at Cedarbrook Living Center.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her three siblings, and Ray, her loving husband of 44 years. Beloved mother of David (Sally), Mary Wolf (Ronald Majewski), Cathy (Tom) Garner, Brian (Jeanne), Michael (Mary), Linda (Kenneth) Cunningham. Proud grandmother of Branden, Caitlin, Jacqueline, Erik, Samantha, Emily, Kyle, Hayley, Alex, Caroline, Julia, Kelsey, Lauren, and Bryce and great-grandmother to Jensen, Lukas, and Keira. Marjorie is survived by many loving family and friends.
