It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ann Naboychik on October 23, 2025, at the age of 91. Mary Anna, battling cancer, died peacefully in her home in Livonia Michigan. Born November 29, 1933, in Detroit Michigan, Mary Ann enjoyed the "snowbird" lifestyle, living in Livonia, Michigan and wintering in her home in Pinellas Park Florida.
Mary Anna graduated from Madonna College with a bachelor’s degree in social work, a field in which she dedicated her life to serving others. Known for her role as Director of the Sheldon Senior Center in Livonia, she provided guidance and organized activities that enriched the lives of seniors in the community, leaving a lasting impact on many.
A woman of great faith, warmth and kindness, May Anna found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished the time spent with family and friends, always making those around her feel loved and valued. Her laughter and spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mary Anna is survived by her children Kathy (Naboychik) Teidt and her late husband Richard, Lenore Naboychik, Daniel Naboychik and his wife Pam and David Naboychik and his late wife Jackie. She is grandmother to Katie and Michael Tiedt, DJ Naboychik and Daniel Van den Heuvel, Joe Naboychik, Susan and John Naboychik and Nicole Grimm. Great grandmother to Abigail, Mikes son Mathew, Hanah, Lindsey and Nicholas Reed, Danielle’s stepchildren Anna & Bart, DJ’s children Reaghan & Cooper, Gabriella, Claire and Evan Naboychik, Ava and Brody Crooks, Makayla Heffelfinger, Tyler and Logan Naboychik, Madison and Emma Grimm. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 26 years, Daniel Naboychik.
In honor of Mary Anna's life, a viewing will be held at St. Edith's Church in Livonia on Tuesday October 28, 2025, with a luncheon held immediately following the service, where family and friends can gather to celebrate her remarkable life and share cherished memories.
Mary Anna Naboychik's legacy of love, compassion and dedication to her community will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be remembered not only for her strength but also for the light she brought into the lives of those around her.
