She was born on March 2, 1934 in Royal Oak, Michigan. She graduated McKenzie High School in 1952. She played saxophone in the marching band and in band. She met her husband, Robert Walker square-dancing and they got married on October 2, 1954. She worked with her husband at R. Walker’s friendly Mobil Service in Redford in the mid-70s to the mid-80s, pumping gas, cleaning windows, and filling tires. Later on, she went to Walsh College and earned a degree in business in 1988. She worked at Traveler’s Insurance as a manager’s assistant until 1998. She was always around when the grandchildren came to play. She loved skiing (Bob and Ann were members of the Livonia Ski Club), tennis, bowling (told her grandkids she used a 20lb ball!), square-dancing, socializing, baking (freezer jams were her specialty), craft work, but most of all, spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. Her love and kindness will forever be in our hearts.
