Mildred Poirier Obituary
Mildred Poirier age 93 of Northville. Cherished wife of the late Ron. Beloved mother of Nancy Poirier (Matt) Jones. Proud grandma of Logan, Ellie and Charlotte. Also survived by many other loving family and friends.
Mildred married late (at 35) and shared a love of skiing, sailing, golf and running with her late husband Ron. She eventually ran three marathons with him in her 50s. She was devoted to her parents, Wilbur and Duffie Atkinson and her brothers Don and Dean who all predeceased her. She was a strong, practical, loving role model for her daughter, Nancy Jones, and eventually her son-in-law Matthew Jones, and grandchildren, Logan, Ellie and Charlotte. She was a wonderful supportive friend to many especially in her twilight years at Fox Run. Throughout her life, she had a deep abiding faith in the Lord that kept her grounded and lifted her up.
