Moe passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 29, 2025, at the age of 82. Loving father of Renee (the late James) Zupancic, Kelly Sudderth, Cheryl (Mike) Sego, Charlene Zezawa, Michele (Bill) McConnell, Shaun (Darin) Nicholls, Russell Nuytten, Melvin (Mary) Turner, Lakaiya (Jordan) Bagley, and Lakisha (Nate) Turner. Cherished grandpa of 22; Great-grandpa of 5. Dear brother of Eugene Nuytten, Marvin Nuytten, Shirley Nuytten, Kathy Nuytten, Lenny Nuytten, and Robert Nuytten. Cherished former spouse of Judy Nuytten, the late Christine Zezawa, and Melvetta Turner. Moe leaves behind many other loving family members and friends.
Moe was born on March 13, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, to his late parents Alphonse and Gilliamena Eleanor Nuytten. His life was a testament to love, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to family and friends. He was a proud entrepreneur, known for his strong work ethic and self-taught skills as a handyman. Beyond his professional pursuits, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Moe had a particular fondness for restoring classic cars and for watching programs on the History Channel about wars and battleships. He had a knack for finding treasures at flea markets and was known to keep a roll of duct tape handy for any situation, a true testament to his resourceful spirit. His hobbies reflected his creativity and ingenuity, as well as his easygoing nature. He approached each day with determination and a desire to help others, often using his remarkable talents to assist friends and family with anything.
Above all, Moe was a man who loved deeply. He cherished his family and friends with a selfless heart, always putting their needs above his own. His generosity knew no bounds, and he had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. His warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him.
