Nancy Rosaria Lawrence

Ignazia “Nancy” Rosaria Lawrence, 91, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, at St. Mary Mercy Hospital, surrounded by the family who meant the world to her.  She was the cherished mother of Patti (Brian Burgess) Pittman and was preceded in death by her daughter, Ann (Joe) Melville. She was the adored grandma of Joey, Josh, Amanda, Justin (Jasmin), and Garrett; the proud great-grandmother of Lydia and Carson; and a beloved "honorary grandma" to Brayden, Bryce, Brody, and Brennan. Her legacy of love and resilience lives on in the countless lives she touched.

Nancy’s greatest joy was found in the simple, beautiful moments spent with those she loved. Known for her kind heart and unwavering strength, she had a rare gift for brightening any room she entered. While she will be dearly missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved daughter, Ann, and the many loved ones waiting to welcome her home.
