Nancy Ann (Drzyzga) Rushlow, 93, of Brighton, MI passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026. She was married to her beloved husband, Milton, for 62 years until his passing on Dec 12, 2013. They raised their family in Northville, MI and then retired to Englewood, FL.
She was a devoted mother to Mary (Teri) Tiffin, Timothy (Kara) Rushlow, Linda Rushlow (Deceased), Mark (Blythe) Rushlow, Melanie (Doug) Dingel. She was the proud grandmother of Justin, Michele (Adam), Jessica (Christopher), Cynthia (Luis), Erica, Jacquelyn (Benjamin), Lyndsay (Steven), Rachel & Daniel (Jen). She adored her 14 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. She was also survived by many beloved Nephews & Nieces. While she will be dearly missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband, daughter, and the many loved ones waiting to welcome her home.
Nancy was a homemaker until her children were grown and then became a secretary. After retiring, Milton & her moved from their Farm in Northville where they boarded horses to Tangerine Woods retirement community in Englewood. She was devoted to her family, and they meant the world to her. She was very artistic and loved crafting, which included her love of sewing, quilting, painting, ceramics, crocheting/knitting & cake decorating. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping with her family, boating and fishing. In her retirement at Tangerine Woods, she enjoyed volunteering and was involved in many activities including writing her Memoirs, playing Bingo, singing in the Choir, Water Aerobics, and numerous games. In her later years, she lived in an Assisting Living community in Brighton, MI where she made numerous friends and loved having her Family and especially great grandchildren visit her. Nancy was loved by everyone who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy’s memory to her great, great nephew, Garrett Joseph Briggs, who at 10 wks. old passed away from Childhood liver cancer. In his memory, God created the Gift of Garrett fund. Its purpose is to promote blood and organ donation as well as provide financial support to others with medical needs.
