Paul F. Farr, a resident of Katy, Texas for the last 10 years and previously of Livonia, MI. Paul was born on 7/28/1935 in Detroit and passed on 7/26/2023 in Katy.
Paul graduated from St. Vincent Catholic School in Detroit and immediately went to work for Chrysler Corporation as a tradesman. Paul worked for Chrysler for 35 years and retired to work as a Special Needs Aide for Clarenceville School District until final retirement. Paul was the quintessential handyman to the neighborhood, his children when he visited and the many family members that lived in the Detroit area. Paul knew no strangers and made friends easily. He was an outgoing, happy-go-lucky guy with many lifelong friends. Our favorite memories revolve around the many days spent on the lake where he drove the boat and happily hosted both friends and the extended family.
Paul’s parents, Mary Jane and Paul, died in 1968 and 2008 respectively. Paul’s wife, Patricia, died in 1998. His surviving family consist of his children, Paul and his spouse Leslie (Florida), Kevin and his fiancé Shannon (California), Michael and his spouse Donna (Texas), and his daughter Mellie (Texas). Paul has four surviving grandchildren, Kandyce and her spouse Tommy Kohlmaier, Kristopher, Harrison Paul and Zoe as well as two great grandchildren, Keely and Taylin Kohlmaier.
We would like to thank all of our family members and friends for their support of our dad through phone calls, cards, visits and prayers
