Raymond Paul Caille Obituary

CAILLE, Raymond, B.Asc. passed away suddenly August 9, at his home in Novi Michigan  Pre-deceased by his loving and supportive wife Anne Marie (Gignac) in 2003, and by her parents Orval "Buster" Gignac (1994) and Irene (2017).


Raymond was the eldest son of Armand (2006) and Irene Caille. Brother of Robert Caille and wife Madonna, David Caille, Juliette Caille and partner Robert Passera, Michele Hughes and husband Ross, Norman Caille and wife Kathy, and Jacqueline Caille. Brother in Law of Gerald Gignac and wife Debra, and Mary Lou Amlin.


Raymond is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews of the extended Caille and Gignac families


Raymond was a graduate of University of Windsor Faculty of Engineering. He was a long term electrical engineer and Global Controls Manager at General Motors intially for Canada and ultimately for the Powertrain Division. His skill and talents refined the capability of operating controls and monitoring systems for factory automation throughout the many Powertrain plants.


His retirement provided more time as an enthusiastic Detroit Tigers and Lions devotee. He was also adept at providing insights on his favorite eateries in the local region, and regularly shared meals with his colleagues from GM to stay in touch.


We wish to extend a special thank you to Daniel and Helen King for their extra support, especially over the last year.


Following his cremation his remains will be interred alongside his dear wife in Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Riviere-aux-Canards,Ontario.
