Rita Elizabeth Adams
Formerly of Livonia, age 101, passed away peacefully March 27, 2023. Rita was predeceased by her devoted husband of 65 years, Robert E. Adams, in 2010. Beloved mother of Laurice (James) Bray, Amy (Tim) George and Marci L. Adams. Survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. Rita was a proud WWII US Marine Corps veteran serving in Pearl Harbor. She graduated from Madonna University and was a devout Catholic her entire life, a selfless musical volunteer, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, and school teacher. Rita was a kind, spiritual person who was a model of decency for all of us, never uttering an unkind word.
A memorial Mass is planned for

Rita will be interred in Arlington National Cemetery.
