Robert “Gus” Meredith Age 84 of Livonia, passed away on June 6, 2026. 

Robert grew up in Detroit . He was stationed in Germany during his time in the Army.

He was married and started his family in Detriot before moving to Livonia.

The majority of his carrier was spent as a Quality Control specialist in the automotive paint industry. His favorite hobby was golf. His passion was singing .

He is preceded in death by his cherished wife, Kathleen of 47 loving years, his parents, Robert and Edith Meredith, his two sisters, Ann and Janet, and his brother John. Beloved father of Marion (Paul) Labute, Robert (Vickie) Jr., Mark (Susan), Keith, Gail, and Aaron (Jill). Adored grandpa / papa of Taryn, Derek, Caiti, Amanda (Takashi), Dan, Ian (Mackenzie), Sean (Colleen), Aaron (Shannon), Mathew, Sidney, and Scarlett. Treasured great grandpa of Nolan, Emerson, Eli, Ellis, Luca, and Aria. He will be missed by many loving family members and friends.
