Age 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 4, 2020. Beloved husband of Marcia for 64 wonderful years. Loving father of Gregory, Debra (Bradley) Dalgleish, and Robin (James) Micallef. Cherished grandfather of Zachary, Connor, Shane, Dylan, Carolyn “CJ”, and Rhett. Dear brother of Bonnie (Louis) Blank, Virginia “Toots” Lyons, and David (Marty) Kellett. He leaves behind many other loving family members and friends. Robert was a very proud U.S. Army veteran and American. He loved his family and his 58’ red Corvette. Robert belonged to many car clubs over the years and enjoyed frequenting car shows.
Robert "Bob"Bennett was born on February 22,1933 to Virginia Bennett and John Kellett of Saginaw Michigan. Upon Graduation from High School, Bob Joined the United States Army and became part of the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Bob was a very proud Veteran. He leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Marcia Bennett. The world is a lessor place in the absence of Robert. Bob was employed by Ford Motor Company, where he retired after 30 years. He was very proud and loved his Children, Grandchildren, and Grand Dogs. His prize possession was his classic car "the red job" a 1958 classic corvette! Spending many years enjoying car shows and winning over 200 trophies and plaques. Meeting many people along the way. Bob Loved the casino, was a master at the lottery, enjoyed traveling with his wife in the winter, Bob was a true American hero and held a high standard for Faith, Family, and friends.
